. In the Garmian region, villagers are leaving their homes, which were destroyed during the Anfal operations in 1988 and rebuilt after 1991, due to the lack of water. HAUKARI Germany, in cooperation with the youth groups of the Garmian region and with financial support from medico international, has launched water projects that are accompanied by awareness-raising measures to deal with the effects of climate change.
